13-07-2008 - Not-so-busy Oliphant bridge underpass
God Bless Sunday evenings, for how else can one explain such a serene vista so close to the railway station?
Too bad about all the suicide attempts. There's a big (tall) parapet hoarding on the overbridge right above the road. It's not as if that can totally prevent suicides either, as there's a sizeable gap in the middle of that parapet hoarding/wall. It would've made for a better picture had that hoarding not been there.

I have another couple of pictures with much less cluttered backgrounds but the exposure wasn't spot-on (didn't want to use flash, so was dependent on the lights used by the professional shooters covering the event).

Life is unfair. I was on this guy for about 10 minutes (had to go to work so couldn't spend too much time too) as he was sitting on that metal T-bar looking around trying to spot his (or her) lunch, waiting for him to take flight. I hand the camera to my wife and he immediately spotted his lunch and swooped down.
